The process of bottling beer is performed in the old traditional way .

Cask conditioned kills (18 gallons) or firkins (9 gallons) of the beers are produced and stored for at least two months . When it is decided to bottle the ales , the stored casks are vented and then the beer is pumped to a six head dispensing unit . Clean bottles , primed with a sugar syrup are then hand filled through the dispensing unit . The bottles are capped and stored for at least 4 weeks , during which time the beer re-conditions itself , producing our final bottle-conditioned ale .

This process allows a stock of different ales to be available at any one time . We try to have at least 6 different ales available at any one time . Should you wish to buy bottled beer from us , you can do so by going to the dark , ruby , golden , yellow or lager beer shops which can be accessed by the online shop button .

If we do not have the beer requested , we will inform you by email of the stock availability and subsequently alter the order to meet your requirements .

You can request the stock availability before you order by clicking on  william.picton@tesco.net and asking for it .
